The Creator of the world of Decapolis, Geovanni Flores was born in Costa Rica. At the age of 15, he moved to Los Angeles California where he lived for close to a year and began learning English. At age 18 after having returned to Costa Rica for 2 years, he moved to Toronto, Canada where he graduated from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Besides Writing and Illustrating Decapolis (and prior to that Fayth-The Saga), Geovanni enjoys traveling, learning how to surf in Bali, reading literature and WW II history, playing Halo, C&C, or even good old Street Fighter II once in a while.
He has lived and taught English abroad in Taiwan R.O.C. for 3 years, has visited Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong. He is currently in teacher’s college at York University. He plans to move back to Asia once school is completed. He lives in Toronto with his wife Amy and their three cats: Baby-Girl, Misa Misa, & Miguel.
